Wenatchee SCORE chapter offers February workshops

WENATCHEE — SCORE, Counselors to America’s Small Business, will be presenting the following one hour Workshop Lunch Box Specials in February:
Wed., Feb. 10: Understand Your Financial Statements
Learn what your Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss is telling you. This one-hour class is designed to help take the mystery out of your financial records. Presented by Alex Stoll of Washington Trust Bank.
Wed. Feb. 17: The Basics: Taxes and Record Keeping
This workshop will review what records you should be keeping to document your tax write offs and income. Presented by Susanne Altman, CPA.
The workshops will be held from noon to 1 p.m. at the North Central Regional Distribution Center, 16 N. Columbia St., Wenatchee. The cost is $5 per business. Call the Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce, 662-2116, to reserve a space or for information.
SCORE also offers free and confidential small business counseling from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesdays and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays at the Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce, 300 S. Columbia St. An experienced counselor can help you understand what it takes to be a successful small business owner. Call 662-2116 for an appointment.
