Smith Barney sells Wenatchee office to D.A. Davidson

D.A. Davidson & Co. took over the Wenatchee office the Morgan Stanley Smith Barney investment firm on Nov. 9.
The office at 18 S. Mission St., Suite 101, Wenatchee, closed as Smith Barney on Fri., Nov. 6, and reopened under the D.A. Davidson name on Mon., Nov. 9.
The existing D.A. Davidson Wenatchee office at 151 S. Worthen St., Suite 201, will continue its operations under branch manager John Peterson. The four financial consultants in that office are Peterson, Judy Rolfs, Robert Johnson II and Wade Gebers. The office also has three support staff.

Peterson will also oversee the new branch with advisors Curtis Harvey, Bruce Campbell, Russ Fode, Darren Goehner, Charles Krueger and Lisa Johnson. That office has two staff members.
Smith Barney clients will need to sign their accounts over to D.A. Davidson to continue working with the investment advisors at that location.
This is the third Morgan Stanley Smith Barney office the company has purchased in the past 12 months, including one in Port Angeles.
D.A. Davidson is an independently owned, full service investment firm headquartered in Great Falls, Mont.

D.A. Davidson is owned by Davidson Companies, a regional financial services holding company. Davidson Investment Advisors, a money management firm; Davidson Trust Co., a wealth management and trust firm; Davidson Fixed Income Management, an adviser providing services to institutional clients; and Davidson Travel, a full-service travel agency, are also arms of the parent company.
