Fines for parking violations go up Dec. 18

Parking violation fines in Wenatchee are going up on Dec. 18.
Most parking violations will carry a $30 fine. If the fine is not paid within 15 days, the fine will increase to $50.
The fine for wiping the chalk mark or other identifying mark off a tire will increase to $50 and if not paid within 15 days will increase to $75.
Parking in a fire lane or bike lane will increase to $124. If not paid within 15 days, that fine will increase to $149.
