NCHBA Home Show 2010

The North Central Home Builders Association’s 2010 Home Show has some exciting attractions this year, including the GWATA Tech Home showcasing examples of telework, distance learning, security and home automation, Anderson Landscaping’s grand entry display, and a variety of demonstrations and give-aways.
The doors are open from 2-8 p.m. Feb. 5; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Feb. 6; and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 7 at the Town Toyota Center, 1300 Walla Walla Ave., Wenatchee.
Tickets are $6 for adults, $4 for seniors and no charge for children age 12 and under.
Tickets are available at the NCHBA office, sponsor locations or at the door. Save $1 off admission by bringing two nonperishable food items.
The Kid’s Zone
The Kid’s Zone by Lowe’s, in the Gil Diamond Hospitality Room on the main floor of the Town Toyota Center, is an opportunity for children, age 12 and under, to build their own project with the help of a Lowe’s professional; go on a scavenger hunt with their parents or enjoy free ice skating on Friday and Saturday.
Workshops and How-tos
The Master Gardeners have demonstrations scheduled on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Ciscoe Morris will offer two workshops on Sunday — at 11:30 a.m. and 12:35 p.m.
Good deeds and giveaways
Be one of the first 250 attendees on Saturday and Sunday and receive a special Home Show Entrance Bag, sponsored by Banner Bank. These bags will be filled with small gifts, specials and discount coupons from participating sponsors and vendors. The bags also come in handy to stow away other information and items you gather at the show.
The 2010 NCHBA Home Show is teaming up with the Children’s Home Society this year to help raise funds.
Watch for the raffling off of many great give-a-ways that will be on display at the home show.
Serve Wenatchee Valley is hosting the 2010 Home Show Canned Food Drive.
Bring two nonperishable food items to one of the NCHBA Home Show entrances and receive a $1 off admission. All donated food items will benefit Serve Wenatchee Valley and help to restore their food banks.
Parking
Additional event parking is available for attendees across the street at Walla Walla Point Park, both parking lots, as well as at Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse.
