Discover how to protect yourself and your business from fraud at the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce’s luncheon Nov. 9 at Campbell’s Resort.
Mitch Barker, director of the Office of the Insurance Commissioner Special Investigations Unit, will explain common fraud schemes and how the cost of insurance fraud impacts business. He will use actual case examples of how people commit insurance fraud.
Barker has 30 years of experience in municipal law enforcement and is a graduate of the 200th Session of the FBI National Academy.
Audience members can ask questions following the presentation.
Chamber luncheons are held from noon to 1 p.m. the second Monday of every month at Campbellās Resort, 104 W. Woodin Ave., Chelan.
Buffet-style lunch is available for $9.
