Entiat chamber names 2010 board and officers

Rica Insley, a Realtor with Laura Mounter Real Estate, was elected president of the Entiat Chamber of Commerce at the Nov. 5 Chamber general meeting and luncheon.

Insley will serve with Vice President Luke Finchum of Finchum Auto Repair; Secretary Judy Bell of Entiat Tree Board; Treasurer Bob Anderson, a retired community volunteer.

Three new board members were elected by the chamber membership. They include Delores Finchum of Finchum Auto Repair; Martha Rochester-Gant, financial representative for Country Financial Central Washington Agency; and Debbie Deardorff of Wheatland Bank. Their two-year terms commence Jan. 1.

Board members serving the remainder of their two-year terms include: Nancy Cooper of Hog Hollow Farm and Kent Kiser a REMAX Realtor.

Rochester-Gant will chair the membership committee, Insley will chair the annual banquet and general member meetings,

Julia Huselton will publish “The Entiat Leader” Chamber Newsletter, and Cooper will coordinate the general membership luncheons.

The mission of the Entiat Valley Chamber of Commerce is to promote and support new and existing businesses through development of community assets.

The annual Entiat Chamber of Commerce Banquet is Jan. 21 at the Entiat Grange Hall. The guest speaker is Mark Miller, the new general manager of the Town Toyota Center. The banquet’s social hour begins at 6 p.m. and dinner is served at 7. Dinner is provided by Entiat Women’s Club. The cost is $15 per person.
